Second youth in court over murder

A second teenager charged with murdering a young father who was shot near his home has appeared in court.

Peter Woodhams, 22, was shot following a confrontation with a group of youths outside a row of shops in Canning Town, east London, on 21 August.

The 17-year-old youth, from Canning Town, was remanded in custody until a hearing at the Old Bailey on 4 January.

Bradley Tucker, 18, of no fixed address, appeared in court on Tuesday charged with the murder.

He was remanded in custody until an Old Bailey hearing on 19 December.

Mr Woodhams, a father of one, died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
