Second teen charged with murder

A second teenager has been charged with the murder of a young father who was shot dead near his east London home.

Peter Woodhams, 22, was shot following a confrontation with a group of youths outside a row of shops in Canning Town on 21 August.

An unemployed 17-year-old from Canning Town will appear at Romford Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Bradley Tucker, 18, of no fixed address, has already been charged with murder.

He was remanded in custody until an Old Bailey hearing on 19 December.

Mr Woodhams, a father of one, died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
