Two face mechanic murder charge

A man and a 15-year-old boy have been charged with murdering a mechanic near the garage he worked at in east London.

Hasan Alkaya, 41, died after being hit over the head and stabbed outside the garage in Link Street, Hackney, on Thursday afternoon.

Detectives are still appealing for anyone who might have seen or heard a dispute at the garage to get in touch.

A 42-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy have been charged with murder and will appear in court on Monday.

Both men, from Homerton, east London, will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court.
