Studios which will give young people a chance to learn about the dance music industry are to be officially opened.
Based in the historic Roundhouse Theatre in Camden, north London, they will teach 13-25-year-olds skills in mixing and music production.
Funds were raised through contributions from clubbers and sponsorship.
The Roundhouse, which hosted rock bands like The Rolling Stones and The Doors in the 1960s and 1970s, reopened in May after a £29.7m facelift.
Leading figures
Situated below the Main Space in the club, the studios are fitted out with state-of-the-art equipment.
Some of the leading figures in electronic music, including DJ duo Layo & Bushwaka!, will also be on hand to pass on their expertise.
Projects in music, film, theatre, dance, TV and radio broadcasting and new media will also be run from the studios.
The full programme of courses, of which most are free, begins on 24 July.
