A teenager has appeared in court charged with murdering a 15-year-old boy who was stabbed to death outside his school.

Kiyan Prince, a youth team footballer with Queens Park Rangers, was attacked near the London Academy school in Edgware, north London, on Thursday.

A 16-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared before Brent magistrates on Monday.

He was remanded into custody to appear at same court on 30 May.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of Kiyan's death as a single stab wound to the chest.
