An eighth person has been arrested after police raided a suspected cannabis factory in south-east London.
Eight people were arrested
More than 20 officers raided a terraced house in Woodhill on Wednesday morning and found about 600 high-strength skunk plants on four floors.
Five men and two women were arrested at the property and an another man was held after further police inquiries.
Detectives suspect the house was part of a multi-million pound cannabis network run by Vietnamese gangs.
Det Sgt David Galbraith said the growing number of cannabis factories operating in London and across the country was a "massive problem".
He said they were run like businesses, in a professional and increasingly sophisticated manner.
In the 12 months from June 2004, a total of 255 in London were closed down.
Most of the factories were housed in rented properties, DS Galbraith added.
