Gas leak shuts down Tube station
A major gas leak has shut a London Underground station and forced local buildings to be evacuated.

Roads around Baker Street station in central London have also been sealed off as workmen from Transco attempt to fix the gas main.

The leak, which is coming from beneath a disused shop in the station, was reported on Wednesday morning.

Motorists are being told to avoid the area and there are also delays on the Metropolitan Line on the Tube.
