Jose Mourinho and his Chelsea players have paraded the Premiership trophy through the West London borough.

The champions started their open-top bus ride from Stamford Bridge and many roads in the area were closed.

Mourinho said: "It's a great chance for us to say thank you to our fans for all their wonderful support this season.

"Winning the Premiership in successive seasons is a fantastic achievement by our team and not all of our fans can get to Stamford Bridge for matches."

Sunday's celebratory trip began from the ground at 1300 BST.

If Arsenal win the Champions League in Paris on Wednesday, they will stage a parade from Highbury to Islington Town Hall from 1300 BST on Thursday.
