Five charged in boy kidnap probe
Door to flat raided by police
The boy was allegedly held at a flat in Victoria
Five people have been charged with kidnapping a 10-year-old boy from his home in Walthamstow, east London.

The boy was freed from a flat in Great Peter Street, Victoria, on Friday, where he was allegedly being held.

Dawn Fields, 25, and Jeriah Simpson, 20, of Navy Street, Clapham, will face charges of kidnap, false imprisonment and blackmail.

Damien Francis, 24, Gadwell Gibbs, 23, and 21-year-old Edwin Phillips - all from New York - have also been charged.

They are accused of kidnap, two counts of false imprisonment, blackmail, aggravated burglary and a firearms offence.

All five will appear at Horseferry Road Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The boy, who has been reunited with his family, was unhurt but police said he was "very shocked" by the incident.
