Up to 800 people gathered at the headquarters of the British Medical Association (BMA) to remember the victims of the London bombings.
Doctors at the Tavistock Square building worked with ambulance crews to help the injured after a bomb exploded on the number 30 bus outside.
The Bishop of Edmonton led the multi-faith service.
Lesley Garret sang at the memorial in the courtyard which was attended by many members of the emergency services.
Security workers who helped after the attacks were also present.

Another memorial was due to take place at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue in north-west London in the evening.
A number of different faiths will also be present at the Service of Remembrance and Hope, in St John's Wood.
The 56 people killed on the attacks on the London Underground network and the Tavistock Square bus have now been named.
The four bombers, including Hasib Hussain who carried out the bus attack, also died.
