Search for owner of six foetuses
Human foetus
Specimens may have been used by trainee medics
Police are trying to trace the current owner of a set of foetuses thought to be 100 years old.

The six foetuses, which date back to the early 1900s, are preserved specimens possibly used for training purposes at a medical establishment.

Police were alerted to the unusual find by a worker at a business premises in Ruislip, west London, last June.

Later that month, a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and bailed until the end of February.

He will be questioned at a central London police station.
