Seven men have been arrested and £1m cash has been recovered after a failed raid on a supermarket.
A gang is believed to have gained access to the cash room at Asda in Leyton, east London, on Sunday night.
Flying Squad officers went in after receiving a tip-off about a planned raid and used Hatton rounds to "disable a vehicle", said Scotland Yard.
Walkie talkies and video equipment were also found at the scene, although no firearms have been found.
Those arrested are being questioned at separate police stations.
