Teacher charged with child porn

A teacher has been charged with indecently assaulting a girl and making and possessing child porn.

Elwyn Durrant, 52, of Hornsey, north London, is charged with assaulting a girl aged under 16 on or before 1 January 1986.

He is due to face the charge plus 14 of making indecent images and another of possession at Haringey Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

He was suspended from Greig City Academy, in Hornsey, then resigned.
