Christopher died from a stab wound to the stomach
A teenager has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old youth who was stabbed during a fight.

Christopher Davis died after an altercation with youths outside Upney station in Barking, east London.

The youth, also 17 and from Dagenham, is due to appear at Barking Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Christopher, also from Dagenham, died in hospital after the incident on Thursday. Two others who were arrested have been bailed.

The 22-year-old man and the girl, 15, are among seven people who were detained by police in connection with the incident. Four boys were later released without charged.

Post-mortem examination results revealed Christopher' died from a single knife wound to the abdomen.

He was taken to King George's Hospital, Ilford, where he was pronounced dead.

The two on bail are due to return to a police station in March pending further inquiries.
