An investigation has been launched into the deaths of a husband and wife.
The bodies of Saciid Dayib, 40, and Fadumo Yusuf, 34, were found by police at their home in Chester Crescent, Hackney, in east London, on Tuesday.
Police said it is believed to be a domestic incident and they are not looking for anyone else.
A post-mortem examination found Mr Dayib died from strangulation. Tests were carried out on his wife's body later on Thursday.
A police spokesman said: "At this early stage officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the inquiry, although they retain an open mind regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident."
He said they want to speak to close friends and family members who knew the couple and may have spoken to either of them on Tuesday.
