New leads over West End attacks
The suspect
Clubs will display posters of the suspect
Police hunting a sex attacker who targets lone women in London's West End are following up a number of new leads after speaking to clubbers.

The man, who poses as a nightclub promoter, has attacked three women in the past few months.

Officers spoke to people out in Piccadilly on Friday night.

The man targeted the women as they left clubs or bars, chatting to them and offering them free tickets before walking them to a quiet area.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said they were now following up a "number of lines of inquiry".

Pub and club owners also agreed to display posters of the man suspected of carrying out the attacks.

He is described as about 6ft tall, dark-skinned and in his late 20s.

The first victim was attacked in October and police have since linked two more assaults to the case.
