Sex attacker strikes in West End

The man approaches women after they have left nightclubs

A man posing as a nightclub promoter has sexually assaulted three women in London's West End in the past few months, police believe.

He waited for women leaving clubs or bars in Piccadilly to leave their friends and began chatting to them and offering them free tickets.

Then he walked with them to a quieter area, where he attacked them.

Police have released CCTV stills of the man, described as about 6ft tall, dark skinned and in his late 20s.

The first victim was attacked in October and police have since linked two more assaults to the case.

Det Insp Richard Ambrose said; 'We are appealing for anyone who knows anything about these attacks to come forward and speak with us.

"These women were assaulted after what should have been an enjoyable night out for them. "
