Two men arrested after a man was shot dead by a police officer have appeared in court on firearms charges.
Wesley Lovell, 26, of West Kensington, west London, and Frank Graham, 23, of Fulham, south-west London, faced four charges relating to firearms.
The pair were remanded by Horseferry Road magistrates to appear at Middlesex Guildhall Crown Court on 9 May.
Azelle Rodney, 24, was shot dead by police after the car he was in was stopped in Edgware, north-west London.
Self-loading pistol
Mr Rodney, who is from west London, was in the back seat of a silver VW Golf which was surrounded by unmarked police cars in Hale Lane on Saturday night.
An investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) began soon after the shooting.
An inquest is due to open at Hornsey Coroner's Court on 5 May.
Mr Lovell and Mr Graham were charged with possessing of a self-loading pistol and blank and gas-fired convertible weapons with intent to endanger life.
They also faced three other charges of possessing ammunition, a blank Rika pistol and a blank key fob-style firearm, all with intent to endanger life.
