The maps reveal celebrities' hidden London

Celebrities in London have put together a series of maps to help people follow in their footsteps.

The maps which highlight the haunts of the rich and famous in the English capital were launched on Tuesday.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson reveals her favourite places in Kensington and Chelsea and DJ Norman Jay focuses on his childhood area Notting Hill.

Visit London compiled the maps, after a survey showed 87% of visitors wanted to be shown around by real Londoners.

The survey also found that the celebrity couple people would most like to show them round London was actor Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan.

The least popular were newlyweds Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, and Madonna and her film director husband Guy Ritchie.

Other celebrities who have taken part in creating the maps include fashion icon Zandra Rhodes and celebrity chef Giorgio Locatelli.

Ms Rhodes and beauty editor Normandie Keith will also be taking part in a one-off tour of their chosen areas at the end of April.
