Cannabis den murder victim named
Khang Tho Nguyen
Officers travelled to Vietnam to match Mr Nguyen's DNA
A 41-year-old man who was murdered in a cannabis den in north-west London has been named as Vietnamese national Khang Tho Nguyen.

Mr Nguyen was found on 15 January, about two weeks after he died from a stab wound to the neck.

Detectives investigating the case travelled to Vietnam to match DNA and inform his family.

The upstairs of the rented property in Bamford Avenue, Alperton, had been adapted to grow cannabis plants.

Det Ch Insp Jeanette McDiarmid said: "We would like to hear from anyone, especially in the Vietnamese community, who knew Khang to assist us piece together the events that lead to his death.

"We are also keen to hear from the men that rented the Bamford Avenue, or anyone that knows them."
