Fans of BBC TV series Doctor Who, which makes a return to the small screen after 16 years, are to host a party to celebrate the first new episode.
About 300 people are expected to gather at a venue in the City to share in the comeback of TV's most popular timelord.
Christopher Eccleston plays the title role alongside Billie Piper as his trusty assistant.
Organiser Jeremy Bentham said the party was a thank you to those who campaigned for the return of Doctor Who.
Asked to account for the programme's popularity, Mr Bentham said: "It's one of the most imaginative formulas for telling stories as it is possible to go any where, any time, any place."
"It has found its niche with people who are imaginative and creative.
"Doctor Who is like one of those rollercoasters that just as you think it has dipped down, it rises back up again."
