Woman, 22, killed in hit-and-run
A 22-year-old woman has died after being struck by a van in a hit-and-run.

Hazel Griffin, from Swanley, Kent, had been on a night out with colleagues from the insurance company she worked at, in Sidcup, south-east London.

She was hit by an open-backed van, thought to be carrying fence panels, as she got out of a Renault Clio in Hatherley Road on Tuesday evening.

The van drove off towards Sidcup High Street. Miss Griffin died in hospital early on Wednesday.

Scotland Yard said a post-mortem examination was due to be carried out on Wednesday.
