Eight people accused of drug charges, after cannabis with a street value of £12m was seized by police, have been remanded in custody.

The 5,000kg haul was found by customs officers inside a cargo of furniture and artefacts from Mexico, on Thursday.
The six men and two women from London, Hertfordshire and Essex, appeared before Bow Street magistrates charged with supplying the drug, on Saturday.
They are all due to appear at Southwark Crown court on 30 December.
A ninth man was arrested on Thursday and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
The Metropolitan Police said it was the largest seizure of cannabis they had ever made.
