Four charged over racist attacks
Four men have been charged over a string of racist attacks in London.

The suspects are white, aged between 15 and 20 and from the Bexley area. Three men are accused of grievous bodily harm and violent disorder.

One man was charged with possession of a stun gun and CS gas. A further 13 men were released on police bail.

Police arrested 17 men and one woman on Wednesday after an investigation into five attacks in Northumberland Heath, south-east London, in September.

'Car stolen'

The woman was later released without charge.

Officers from the Hate Crime unit started an investigation after a 17-year-old black man was kicked and a 16-year-old suffered facial injuries in a gang assault.

In another incident a car was stolen by a group of youths who shouted racial abuse at the victims.
