Police name gunshot murder victim

Mr Landers, a father of four, died in hospital
Police have named a man found shot in a street in Northolt on Sunday who died later in hospital.

Liam Landers, 34, an unemployed carpenter from Southall, died on Monday after being taken to Ealing Hospital.

Police are linking the murder to the wounding of another man at a nearby Texaco services at Target Roundabout.

One man arrested over the fatal shooting in Greenhill Gardens and a man and a woman arrested for the garage wounding were later released.

The 22-year-old victim of the garage shooting, who was taken to Hillingdon Hospital and discharged after treatment on Monday, was also arrested and released after questioning.

Mr Landers, a father-of-four, was found lying in Greenhill Gardens at 2324 GMT on Sunday by officers after they received reports of gunshots.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds.
