Two of the three men arrested by police investigating the death of an 18-year-old model have been bailed.

Sally Anne Bowman was found stabbed to death yards from her home in Blenheim Crescent, Croydon, south London, early on Sunday morning.

Hours earlier she had been enjoying a night out with friends.

Police are continuing to question a 20-year-old man. Two others, aged 25 and 26, have been bailed to return on 12 October.

The local model agency where Miss Bowman was on the books described her as "somebody very special".

Catwalk model

Peter Kaminski of Pulse Model Management said: "We are all still very shocked .

"She really was very captivating both in front of the camera and on stage as a catwalk model and we really saw her going a long way."

Miss Bowman's family released a statement saying they "love and miss her so much" and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Det Ch Insp Stuart Cundy, who is leading the investigation, said: "This is the loss of a young woman's life in terrible circumstances."

He appealed for anyone in the area between 0430 and 0630 BST on Sunday to contact police.
