Teenage girl is stabbed to death
A teenage girl has been stabbed to death in south-east London.

The 18-year-old victim was with a friend in a car in Red Lion Row in Walworth on Sunday evening when they were approached by a group of youths.

Police say she got out of the car but one of the youths followed her down Boundary Road where she was stabbed. The group of youths then ran off.

Detectives have described the stabbing of the teenager, who has not been named, as "callous".

'Cold-blooded'

Det Ch Insp Glyn Jones said: "The stabbing of this 18-year-old girl was carried out in a cold-blooded, callous way.

"I am appealing for anyone who was in the area, early evening on Sunday 11 September. Did you see anything of this disturbance?"

He appealed to witnesses to come forward who may have seen a white car was parked in Red Lion Row from about 1700.

"Did you see a group of youths, up to six of them, approaching the car, or running off in the direction of nearby roads?"

He added: "Did you see one of the youths approach the victim and stab her?"
