Space toys to invade Christie's

Mr Lips collected toys across four decades
Hundreds of toy robots and spaceships dating back to the 1940s are to descend on London for an unusual auction.

Antique toy enthusiast Paul Lips is putting more than 700 items under the hammer at Christie's in November.

Some toys with more famous faces, like Robby from the 1956 cult sci-fi film The Forbidden Planet, are expected to fetch between 800 and 8,000 each.

The toys were collected from the 1940s to the 1970s and the sale is expected to raise more than 200,000.
