An 83-year-old woman who was dragged by a car for a quarter of a mile has died, say police.
The elderly woman was thrown into the path of the car after being hit by a single-decker bus as she tried to cross Chiswick High Road, west London.
She was then dragged along by the car until the driver, unaware she was there, was flagged down at Kew Bridge.
The woman died on Thursday afternoon. A post-mortem examination will take place at Fulham mortuary on Tuesday.
Police said the Chiswick woman's family have been informed.
