Bikers remember bombing victims
Bikers unity rally
The Unity Ride was organised by the London Bikers organisation
A convoy of bikers have staged a rally through London as a mark of respect for the 52 people who died in the bombings.

Up to 1,500 riders visited the four 7 July bomb sites in Edgware Road, Tavistock Square, King's Cross and Aldgate East where they laid wreaths.

The Unity Ride then stopped at the London Memorial Garden in Victoria Embankment where a minute's silence was held for the victims.

The riders then headed to the Ace Cafe in north London where the rally ended.

'Stronger and united'

The Unity Ride was organised by the London Bikers organisation.

A message on its website reads: "This is a time when we all should come together when even those that were not directly affected by the bombings should show unity with the people of London in defying terrorism.

"We should show by a mass display that London is not destroyed by these acts but made stronger and more united."

Richard Olliffe, of the British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF), said: "There is no better way for the biking community to respond to recent events in London than to come together to show solidarity with and support of victims of the bombings."
