Doctor cleared over rape charge
A doctor charged with rape at an east London hospital has been cleared.

Jan Falkowski, 44, from east London, appeared at Inner London Crown Court on Friday when prosecution counsel said they had no evidence to offer.

Mr Falkowski, from The Highway, in Tower Hamlets, had been accused of carrying out a rape at St Clements Hospital, in Bow, in June 2002.

The General Medical Council said Dr Falkowski was still on its register which lists doctors fit to practice.
