Dickens-style Christmas at museum
The Charles Dickens Museum is staying open over Christmas where visitors can enjoy a Victorian-style celebration.

Victorian "time-travellers" will be on hand to take visitors on a historical tour of The Charles Dickens Museum.

Staff dressed in Victorian costume will also be providing mulled wine and mince pies and carol singers will be there to entertain at the Bloomsbury Museum.

The museum will be open on Christmas Day, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day between 11am and 6pm.

Children can take part in time trails throughout the museum and enjoy readings from Dickens' Christmas stories.

Screenings of Dickens' A Christmas Carol will also add to the festivities.
