So Solid leader on murder charge
So Solid Crew frontman Megaman has appeared in court charged with murder after a fatal shooting in south London.

The artist, whose real name is Dwayne Vincent, appeared at Camberwell Magistrates' Court on Friday accused of murdering Colin Scarlett.

Mr Scarlett, 24, died shortly after being shot on Maskell Road, Tooting, on 6 November this year.

Mr Vincent, 25, of Barons Court, west London, was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 3 December.

He is also charged with possession of a firearm.

Unemployed Carl Morgan, 22, of Yelverton Road, Battersea, south-west London, was arrested on Monday and has been charged with the same offences.

The So Solid Crew is a collective of DJs, singers and MCs from south London.

Their biggest hit was 21 Seconds released in August 2001. Their music has been described as a mix of underground garage, ragga and R&B and rap.
