Rape victim denies 'sex fantasy'
Terrell Forbes arrives at Kingston Crown Court
Terrell Forbes denies one count of rape
A girl allegedly gang-raped by a group of footballers has denied fantasising about sex assaults, a court has heard.

The teenager, who was 15 at the time, told Kingston Crown Court she was made to perform sex acts on up to 12 men at a flat in Brockley, south-east London.

Grimsby Town's Terrell Forbes, 23, denies one count of rape in March.

Philip Mighton, 23, Darren Wallace, 23, Ashley Campbell, 21, Kevin George, 21, and Shane Sutherland, 21, all from south London, also deny rape charges.

'Vivid imagination'

The girl, who is now 16, told the court on Friday that poems she wrote with a rape theme were not about her.

She said the poems were song lyrics and were not about her real life experience.

Under cross examination and speaking from behind a screen, she denied being a "fantasist with a vivid imagination".

Orlando Pownall QC, defending Mr Sutherland, told the jury the girl fantasised about leaving home and becoming a "whore".

'Death threat letters'

He also said the girl told a friend she was receiving death threats in the post.

But the girl said the threatening letters were part of her "drama work" and her friend had not been listening when she told her they were not real.

Mr Pownall told the court Mr Sutherland spent one hour at the flat, leaving at 2345 GMT, and any sexual activity which took place was with the girl's agreement.

After leaving, Mr Sutherland called the girl who assured him she was fine, the court heard.

The girl told the court she could not remember Mr Sutherland's call. But Mr Pownall said phone records showed the call had been made.

The court had earlier been told the girl befriended Mr Sutherland who drove her to Mr Mighton's flat where she was raped by an "unknown number" of men on 4 March .

Mr Sutherland, from Anerley, Mr Wallace, from Brockley and Mr George, from Catford, all deny one count of rape.

Mr Mighton, from Brockley, denies three counts of rape and Mr Campbell also from Brockley, denies two charges of rape.

Mr Forbes was playing for west London club Queens Park Rangers at the time of the alleged assault.

The trial continues.
