Police forensic officers examined murder scene
Police have named a mother and her two children who were murdered at their home on Tuesday.

Beverley McEwan, 42, and six-year-old Junior Oden-Gordon bled to death after being stabbed. Donna Smart, 15, had been strangled.

They were found in a flat in Middlesex House, Northwick Road, Wembley and were confirmed dead at the scene.

A man arrested on Tuesday is being questioned by detectives. Another man was arrested but has been released.

The mother and two children had been living in the tower block since 1999.

Natalie Smith, a neighbour of the victim, said: "It's so sad, she was a really nice lady. We used to talk because we were neighbours. Her little boy played with my little boy.

"It's absolutely horrific, nothing like this has ever happened here."

Stadium Housing Association, which manages Middlesex House for Brent Council, said it is co-operating with the Met regarding inquiries and that all residents at the tower block have been informed of the incident.
