Nathan Moore now manages pop band Phixx
The lead singer of 1980s pop band Brother Beyond has been arrested for kerb crawling.

Nathan Moore, 39, was held in a police crackdown in north London's King's Cross red light district.

The former boy band idol was questioned by officers and has now been charged with soliciting.

Mr Moore, of Crossley Street, Islington, north London, is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Friday.

A total of 20 people were charged after the week long police operation.

Band manager

A Met police spokesman said it was launched as a response to concerns expressed by the local community.

Moore is now the manager of Popstars: The Rivals rejects Phixx, Eurovision entry James Fox and Pop Idol finalist Hayley Evetts.

His other acts include Haydon Eshun, one-time child star of boyband Ultimate Kaos who tried to revive his career by appearing on ITV's Reborn in the USA.

Brother Beyond were briefly famous in the late 1980s and their biggest hit was The Harder I Try, which reached number two in 1988.

The hits dried up and Moore went on to form new band Worlds Apart.

Two years ago he recorded a single with Kim Wilde.
