Romeo in court over 'knife fight'

Romeo rose to fame as a member of the So Solid Crew
A member of So Solid Crew has appeared in court accused of involvement in a knife attack.

Romeo, real name Marvin Dawkings, 24, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and violent disorder during a fight.

The rapper from Rotherhithe, south-east London, appeared Southwark Crown Court. He will appear at the same court again on 22 November.

The fight allegedly took place in a central London car park.

Romeo appeared alongside brothers, Julian, 26, and Nathan, 18, of Southfields, south-west London, and another man, Thomas Engola, 27, of Battersea, south-west London.

They also face charges relating to the alleged attack.

Under conditions previously imposed, he must observe a 1900 BST to 0700 BST curfew and cannot enter parts of central London except for his work.
