Man bailed over top agent's death
Rod Hall
Police say Mr Hall may have let his killer into his flat
A man arrested after a well-known literary agent was found dead at his home, has been released on bail.

The body of Rod Hall, 53, was found at his flat in Southwark, south London, with stab wounds to his chest and stomach, on Sunday night.

A friend alerted police when Mr Hall, who represented writers of UK films like The Full Monty and Billy Elliot, failed to keep appointments.

The man, in his 20s, is to return to a south London police station on 8 June.

Police said Mr Hall was thought to be in the area of Borough Tube station, in south London, when he held his last known conversation on Friday evening.

He then either took the bus or walked to the flat in Prioress Street.

Detectives say he may have let his killer into his home.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw Mr Hall to come forward.

He was white, about 6ft tall, thin and wore distinctive glasses with a thick clear frame.

It is not know what he was wearing, but he carried a large brown leather bag.
