Hotel's rooms with a view to buy
Guesthouse West hotel room
The scheme is aimed at firms who have regular hotel bills
Visitors to London can have the hassle taken out of finding accommodation by buying their own hotel room.

People can purchase rooms at the new Guesthouse West hotel, in Notting Hill, west London, for £235,000 each on a 99-year lease.

This entitles them to use it 52 nights a year for a nominal fee and they must pay a £500 yearly service charge.

Profit made from letting the room out for the remaining nights will be shared between the hotel and the leaseholder.

The firm behind the plan, GuestInvest, says those who buy the rooms should make returns of between 5% and 7% every year.

This is dependent on the number of nights the room is occupied by the owners.

Johnny Sandelson, owner of GuestInvest, said: "The scheme has been designed for private individuals who need occasional accommodation in London and other cities without the hassle of traditional property ownership, or for companies facing regular hotel bills for visiting staff or client."
