The latest works in London Underground's (LU) programme to promote public art have gone on display at a central London Tube station.

The images have been selected from Platform for Art Online, the digital arm of London Underground's Platform for Art.

Works from 14 UK and international artists are featured.

LU hopes the exhibition, on show at Piccadilly Circus until 4 April, will bring the work to new audiences.

It uses work featured on a special website based on an animated version of the Tube network.

Visitors can select journeys online and travel on "virtual trains" to a series of platforms, each of which represents an artist's work.

On their way their fellow passengers offer helpful tips about the site or the artists.
