Man charged with patient's murder

Despite extensive enquiries still no trace of John Goodman
A man charged with the murder of a missing cancer patient has been remanded in custody.

Fabio Santos Pereira, 25, who is charged with killing freelance photographer John Goodman, 52, appeared at Ealing Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Mr Goodman, from West Ealing, was last seen by a consultant at Ealing Hospital in west London, on 20 March.

He failed to attend another appointment on 31 March and was reported missing by a neighbour on 16 July.

Police have made extensive enquiries but have found no trace of Mr Goodman.

Mr Pereira, of no fixed address, is charged with murdering Mr Goodman between 8 April and 26 August.
