Two bailed over jogger attacks
Reconstruction: Woman jogging in park
Police mounted a reconstruction of Ms Muller's murder
A man and a teenager held by police in connection with the murder of a woman jogger and an attack on another runner in London parks have been released.

The males, aged 24 and 15, were arrested at their homes in Stoke Newington on Monday.

After questioning, they were freed on bail to reappear at separate north London police stations on 12 January, Scotland Yard said.

It was stressed that the pair were not linked in any way.

On 5 December a 39-year-old woman was stabbed by an assailant in Clissold Park, Stoke Newington.

Police have linked the attack to the murder of Margaret Muller, originally from Virginia, in the United States, who was stabbed to death in a nearby park in February.

The 27-year-old was stabbed 49 times in Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets - less than two miles from Clissold Park.
