Designer shoes stolen from lorry in Lincolnshire

Designer shoes and handbags worth thousands of pounds were stolen from a lorry in Lincolnshire, while the driver was in the cab.

Thieves slashed the side of the lorry parked on the A1 southbound at Great Ponton at about 0145 GMT.

The driver, who was woken by the noise, described seeing seven men in ski masks take eight pallets of Burberry items.

Police are urging anyone offered Burberry goods for sale to contact them.
