Car stolen as driver posts letter

A car has been stolen while a driver stopped to post a letter in Lincolnshire.

The motorist left his engine running as he pulled over in Abbey Lane, Sedgebrook, on Friday morning.

A man then got into the red Audi A3 and drove off. A police spokesperson said the vehicle had been seen heading towards the Nottingham area.

Officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or has further information to come forward.
