Armed robber flees on day release

People have been warned not to approach Deen

A violent convicted armed robber has absconded from an open prison in Lincolnshire.

Andrew Philip Deen, 43, was serving a life sentence when he failed to return to North Sea Camp after a day out.

Deen had been on day release to Nottingham when he failed to arrive back at the jail.

Police said he was 5 ft 10 ins tall with brown eyes, a dark complexion and a round face. People have been warned not to approach him.

They added they did not know what he may be wearing or if had any access to a vehicle.
