More patrols after exposure cases

Police have stepped up patrols after eight indecent exposure incidents were reported in part of Lincolnshire.

There have been seven incidents of a man exposing himself, near to schools in Stamford, between 25 September and 6 November.

Another incident, which is believed to be linked, was reported on High street in Market Deeping on 6 November.

The offender is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, with dark brown hair.

Sgt Martyn Parker said: "We do not want to alarm parents and youngsters, but we do need them to be aware of the issue.

"We have introduced dedicated patrols on all the main routes to and from schools in the town between 3pm and 6pm.

"Our officers will be there and youngsters will be safe but we do need to catch this offender and the key to that is early reporting of offences and a registration number."
