Man charged in bookmakers robbery

Police have charged a man over a robbery at a bookmakers in Lincolnshire.

Officers were called to Ladbrooke's on Market Street, Gainsborough, at 1930 GMT on Saturday.

They said a masked man went to the counter, made threats and demanded money which staff handed over.

A 39-year-old local man was arrested in the early hours of Sunday and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court later.
