Care worker charged over thefts

A Lincolnshire care home worker has been charged with theft following allegations she stole cash from the account of a 91-year-old patient.

The 38-year-old woman, who worked at Sunnyview Home Care Services, Chapel St Leonards, is alleged to have withdrawn £5,650 from the man's account.

The transactions took place between January and August of this year.

The woman was released on police bail and is due to appear at Skegness Magistrates' Court on 24 November.
