E-fit
Police have warned the public not to approach the suspect

An e-fit has been issued of a suspect police want to trace in connection with the murder of a Lincolnshire man.

Alan Wood, 50, was found stabbed at his home in Lound on 24 October. Police said he had been subjected to a sustained attack.

The man police want to question is described as between 25 and 30 years old and about 5ft 9ins tall. He had brown eyes.

He was wearing a black baseball cap with a yellow logo and patterned scarf.

Bank cards

Det Supt Stuart Morrison said: "This is a suspect in our investigation and we need to trace him as a matter of urgency.

"The image has been produced with the help of a witness who has placed this man at a cashpoint at a relevant time.

"The witness believes they saw this man withdrawing cash at around 2130 BST at Sainsbury's in Bourne on Thursday October 22."

"Please do not approach this man if you do know him or see him, but ring us immediately."

CCTV images have also been released relating to footage from attempts to use Mr Wood's bank cards after his body was found.

Money was withdrawn using the cards on 22 and 23 October, possibly by the murderer, police said.
