Woman, 70, dies in road collision

A 70-year-old woman has died in a car crash in Lincolnshire.

Three cars were involved in the accident in West Marsh Road in Spalding on Saturday evening. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said a number of people assisted and then left and they are particularly keen to talk to the driver of a red BMW who was in the area at the time.

The road was closed for several hours as the wreckage was cleared and reopened in the early hours.
